Paragon Enhancement highlights:

Action Icons: Wouldn’t it be nice if you could view more data and fewer icons? The Action Icons column of the spreadsheet has been modified to display a single icon to provide access and more viewing space for data.

Manage Expiring Notifications made easier: The dialog window is now displaying the Contact Name, the Last Accessed and the Last Notified Dates

Want to know when you modified a Saved Search? To assist users with managing saved searches, a Modified date column has been added to the grid in Search > Saved Property Searches. The grid can be sorted by the Modified date by clicking on the column header.

Easier workflow when adding and modifying listings (Full or Partial): When maintaining a listing, a new “Add” button has been added.

MetroList has a problem with their server resulting in our inability to extract data from their MLS. MetroList is working to resolve the issue, and as soon as there is a resolution, we will resume pulling the information and provide it within Paragon. We want you to be aware there may be some data missing, leaving some listings out of date in the Paragon MLS.

Currently, to see the most accurate MetroList data, we suggest using one of the mobile apps, Homesnap or HomeSpotter. If you need assistance downloading the mobile apps, please contact our MLS Tech Support at 925.730.7100.

The expanded MLS data share launched today, Jan. 20, 2021, involving seven MLSs and counties from Mendocino and Placer down to Monterey. When you log into Paragon, you may now search and enter your ‘out of area’ listings directly in Paragon. No need to access BAREIS, MetroList, SFAR and MLSListings as all of the listing information is now available within Paragon.

If you have an active listing entered into BAREIS, Metrolist or San Francisco which was not canceled and reentered into Paragon, please email mlsservices@bayeast.org with your updates as you will no longer have direct access to that listing.

  • Contacts – Agent Preview:  The interface for approving and disapproving listings for Agent Preview searches has been modernized and clarified.
  • Search – Advanced Date Rage Operators and Prospecting:  To improve performance, we’ve added Advanced Date Range Operators (seven days back, six months back, etc.) to the list of invalid search criteria for prospecting.
  • Search – Listing Slide Show:  The Paragon Listing Slideshow can now be emailed directly to your contacts!
  • CMA – Unique Cover Letters Per Presentation: With this enhancement, adding a cover letter to a presentation creates and saves a unique copy of the cover letter to that presentation.

Expanded MLS Data Access – NORCAL MLS Alliance Project Update

The NORCAL MLS Alliance is a groundbreaking MLS Data integration project involving seven leading Northern California MLSs. The project, scheduled to launch on January 20, 2021, will expand the existing MLS Reciprocal Access, enabling you to access listing information for Bay East, BAREIS, bridgeMLS, Contra Costa, MetroList, MLSListings, and San Francisco all within the Paragon MLS system.  Highlights include:

  • Single Point of Entry: Listings entered in Paragon MLS will be displayed automatically in each MLS named above.
  • Single Search Point:  Search listing data throughout the 22 counties covered by these MLSs, all within Paragon MLS.
  • Create CMAs, Auto Email, and Save Searches for clients, including the expanded data using Paragon MLS System.

As the launch date approaches, Bay East will be sending additional communications with important information and action items for you.

On December 8, when you log on to Paragon, you will be directed to accept the End-User License Agreement (EULA).

We are required to register the MLS Database annually with the U.S. Copyright Office to maintain all copyright protections for the property listings compilation. As part of that process, every MLS user must renew the End Users License Agreement each year.

To accept the agreement, simply enter your name exactly as displayed on the EULA page. Be aware of any uppercase and lowercase letters as the signature is case-sensitive.

Once you accept the EULA, you will be directed back to Paragon, and receive a copy of the agreement.

If you have an old Paragon MLS URL bookmarked, you will see a “Warning” notice pop-up asking you to update your bookmarks and require you to click a link that will take you to the updated MLS login page. Clicking on that link does not automatically update your bookmark. The warning notice will only be seen by members who have the old MLS URL bookmarked.

After November 30, the old bookmark will not work.  Click Here for the new URL to bookmark for Paragon MLS.

Paragon Connect will replace Paragon Mobile effective October 31, 2020.  Using responsive design technology to be faster Paragon Connect is more intuitive and accessible, with many valuable new features.

There are two ways to access Paragon Connect:

1 – Using your mobile device, go to the Paragon login page; Paragon Connect will be one of three options presented.

2 – Logon to Paragon and select “Paragon Connect” under the “Resources Tab”.
