The REALTOR® Achievement Club is an awards program designed to recognize Bay East REALTORS®, who have closed more than $4.25 million in residential and/or commercial sales/listings or ten transactions for the year.

Certificates will be available to download on Tuesday, February 20.

How to get your certificate:

  • Log in to the My Bay East Portal 
  • Click on “About Me” tab
  • Scroll down to “Achievement Club” Panel
  • On the Certificate column, click on the Arrow to download your Achievement Club Certificate.

If you feel that you should be placed in a different category and have sales not generated from the Paragon MLS, you will have until Monday, March 18, 2024, to send in backup documentation such as a HUD-1 or a letter from your broker to Member Services.

We’ll be implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on April 9, 2024 to enhance MLS security. MFA adds an extra layer of protection beyond just a password. It requires users to provide multiple forms of identification before granting access, which significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access. Keep an eye out for upcoming communication on what this means for you and how to prepare. Your data safety is our priority!

Multi-Factor Authentication Q&A

Q: Why is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Important to have?

A: Increased Security: MFA adds an extra layer of protection beyond just a password. It requires users to provide multiple forms of identification before granting access, which significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access.

Mitigates Password Vulnerabilities: Passwords can be easily guessed, stolen, or cracked. MFA lessens the impact of these vulnerabilities because even if a password is breached, additional authentication factor(s) are needed to access the account.

Protection of Information: For individuals and organizations alike, safeguarding data is critical. MFA adds an extra barrier against data breaches, protecting confidential information from falling into the wrong hands.

Q: When is a user challenged for MFA? 

A: MFA will challenge users when: 

  • They are new 
  • They forget their password or are locked out 
  • They change their email or password 

Q: Is a user going to have to authenticate with MFA on every login? 

A: No. A user would only need to be authenticated with MFA when they meet one of the conditions noted above.

Q: How does a user get the code for MFA? 

A: The user will be offered the choice of email or text. If a user does not have a mobile #, then only email will be offered. If the user has no email address, then only text will be offered.

Q: What if the user’s email and phone in the MFA screen are wrong? 

A: The user should cancel the MFA screen, contact the MLS, and have their information updated.  After 15 minutes the user should attempt to log in again.

Q: What if the user shares a single email or phone? 

A: The code will go directly to that one email or phone.  We highly recommend having your unique email or phone.

Q: How can I update my email or phone? 

A: Email MLS Services at mlsservices@bayeast.org with your request to update. 

Q: How long is the code good for? 

A: The “life” of the code varies by method: 

  • The email code is good for 5 minutes. 
  • The text code is good for two minutes. 

Q: Can I receive authentication codes on my Apple Watch? 

A: No. Authentication codes are only sent to the text device it is addressed to, and not to “Connected devices.” This is a security measure to assure that the code may not be hijacked by other devices.

Q: What email address will the code be sent from? 

A: It will be from do-not-reply@Corelogic.com

Exciting news – Dotloop 2.0 is here, and it’s a game-changer for real estate professionals. The RPR Mobile™ app has a major update!

Getting around has never been easier with the new navigation bar!  Available on your landing page – begin searching immediately, see area listing counts and your recent and saved searches/properties, follow market trends, create-view-share reports, and more!

  • Search is the first page you see. List View and Sort are on the lower right of the map. And DRAW is now accessible directly on the map!
  • One tap on the search bar brings up a menu that allows you to switch between Residential or Commercial modes. And the auto suggest feature allows you to search by Listing ID or APN/Tax ID. It’s that easy!
  • The default zoom level for the map is determined by you – make your preference in “set nearby to” shown in Menu > User Settings
  • Tapping My Work in the Navigation Bar gives you a glance into the listing activity in your area, shows your current and previous listings, displays your recent searches and properties viewed, plus your saved notes, properties, and searches.
  • Tapping Trends in the Navigation bar displays the residential Market Trends charts.

To download the RPR app, go to the App Store or Google Play.

To access RPR, log onto Paragon, under the Resources tab, click on RPR or go to www.narrpr.com.

On December 6, when you log on to Paragon, you will be directed to accept the End-User License Agreement (EULA).

To accept the agreement, simply enter your name exactly as displayed on the EULA page. Be aware of any uppercase and lowercase letters as the signature is case-sensitive. Once you accept the EULA, you will be directed back to Paragon, and receive a copy of the agreement.

We are required to register the MLS Database annually with the U.S. Copyright Office to maintain all copyright protections for the property listings compilation. As part of that process, every MLS user must renew the End Users License Agreement each year.

We have been advised by Homesnap that with the Homesnap transition to Homes.com the Homesnap Appt. Scheduling module will be going away.   This means on October 23; you will no longer see the field when you are within your listing maintenance.  

Within Listing Entry/Maintenance we do provide another field to for you to add Showing Scheduling link from other programs such as Calendly if you utilize it.

Mark your calendars. The final day to use Homesnap Pro will be October 23. Homesnap Pro will be removed and will redirect to the new website, Homes.com. 

To access the new and improved app, download the “Homes.com” app, or visit Homes.com and sign in with your Homesnap email and password. Your clients’ information will still be available in homes.com, including consumer profiles, saved searches, favorite listings, notes, and email alerts.

A new integration will be coming soon to Cloud CMA. On September 13, we’ll be releasing an integration between Cloud CMA and Listing Toolkit – Realtor.com®’s newest product for seller agents. With this new integration, agents will be able to bring exclusive buyer reports from Realtor.com® into their CMAs. We believe this can help them bolster their listing presentations and provide their clients with even more useful information in the selling process.

Starting September 13, sign up for the Listing Toolkit and start integrating this newest product into your CloudCMA account.
