Glide assures us your data will remain private and secure, stating “Glide user and transaction data from Glide.com and the Glide app will not be accessible by Compass’ brokerage.” Bay East Board of Directors will review our agreement with Glide.

Effective April 27 a Security update will be activated on Supra lockboxes. If you do not have the current eKEY app on your device, you will be unable to open lockboxes and will be required to download the latest version from the App Store or Google Play.

Open houses are still prohibited, however Contra Costa County is now permitting larger attendance for property showings. Both agents, along with sellers and clients can be together as long as they comply with social distancing, ventilation, and face mask requirements. In recognition of their service to the real estate industry locally, as well as at state and national levels the Board of Directors approved a motion making both Bill Brown and Kevin Brown honorary Bay East Past Presidents.
Bill Brown
Bill has served in numerous positions at the local, state, and national levels. Currently Bill is serving on the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and Leadership Team. An NAR Director since 1991, Bill also served as Chairman of the RPAC Trustees in 2004, a committee liaison in 2006 and 2011, the 2012 Regional Vice President for Region 13 (comprised of California, Hawaii, and Guam), and was the 2017 NAR President. He is a Golden R Major Investor, member of the President’s Circle, and in 2010 was inducted into the RPAC Hall of Fame. In addition to serving on the Executive Committee six times at the state level, Bill was the 2008 California Association of REALTORS® President.
Kevin Brown
Kevin has volunteered in various positions at the local, state, and national levels. Currently, Kevin is the NAR REALTOR® Party Director. Kevin has also served as the NAR Federal Political Coordinator to the 9th Congressional District. He is a Golden R Major Investor, member of the President’s Circle, and in 2018 was inducted into the RPAC Hall of Fame. In addition to serving as the C.A.R. Key Contact for the 14th Assembly District and the 9th Senate District, Kevin is a recipient of the C.A.R. Outstanding Chair Award. At Bay East, Kevin was actively involved in the Local Government Relations (LGR) committee from 2000 to 2010 including serving as 2005 LGR Vice Chair and 2006 LGR Chair.

New Report
A new listing report named “Agent 2-Page (New)” will be added into Paragon. This report will accommodate all new fields being added into the system. See list of new fields below.
To access the new report, click on “Reports” – Click on the “Details” down arrow, Select the new report.
New Fields
1. Adding Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) fields within Paragon in Listing Input and Search
2. Adding an additional “Showing Field” called: Showing Schedule Link – This is a non-required field. User can add their preferred scheduling link within this field.
3. Adding “Primary Showing Contact” and “Primary Showing Phone.”
4. Adding 2nd Media Link.
Updating Existing Fields
1. Updating “Disclosures.IO” name to “HomeLight Listing Mngmt” under the Resources Tab
2. Changing the HOA field to allow searching by range instead of a single amount.
3. IO field changing to Disclosures, allowing you to add any disclosures link.
4. Updating “Master” to “Primary”; fields/features affected by this change are listed below.
