Beginning October 5, 2023, the City of Dublin has new rules for Open House signs:
- Number of Signs: A maximum of six (6) open house signs may be displayed for each property advertised for sale. The old rules only allowed four (4) signs.
- Placement: Signs may not be placed in the Public Right-of-Way where they endanger the safety of persons or property, disrupt the normal flow of vehicle or pedestrian traffic, block views of traffic, block ingress into or egress from residences or places of business, or restrict sidewalk width to less than thirty-six (36) inches.
- Display times: Signs may be displayed on holidays, Saturdays, Sundays, and one agent tour day each week from 10am to 5:30 pm. The old rules allowed signs to be displayed until “sunset.”.
- Violations and Enforcement: Violators may be fined, their signs removed, and repeat violators may not be able to display signs in Dublin at all.
