C.A.R. has issued a second Red Alert to stop ACA 13 (Ward), a proposed state constitutional amendment that could undermine Proposition 13 by making it easier for local governments to increase property taxes. ACA 13 just passed the Assembly and could be considered by the entire Senate very quickly.
Look for C.A.R.’s Red Alert email from realtorparty@car.org with a subject line that contains “RED ALERT.”

As of August 19, the city of Dublin began issuing courtesy notices for violations on real estate signs that had remained on display beyond times allowed or had been located in prohibited locations. Starting on August 26, the City will begin issuing citations for second violations.
