Wow, 2024 was truly one for the books! When I stepped into the role of President, I could not have anticipated the whirlwind our industry would face. From the NAR settlement and leadership transitions to evolving forms, Department of Justice actions, and beyond, this past year brought unprecedented challenges.
Through it all, Bay East remained a guiding force for our members. I chose “United Together” as our theme for 2024, and it proved more relevant than ever. Bay East served as a beacon for our members, amplifying the REALTOR® voice in media and public discourse.
Innovation was also at the forefront of our work. We launched the Brand Ambassador Program to strengthen member engagement and promote the value of Bay East’s offerings. Our Member Outreach and Leadership Development initiatives flourished, with visits to brokerages providing direct support and clarity on industry shifts. We also focused on cultivating future leaders, encouraging members to step into committee, workgroup, and task force roles.
As I reflect on this year, I am deeply grateful. To the exceptional Bay East staff—your dedication and efficiency make this association thrive. To our Bay East members—your support, engagement, and resilience inspire me. And to my family, who has stood by me through years of service to this profession, I am forever grateful.

In response to the NAR lawsuit settlement, Bay East took action to support members by providing clear communication, MLS transparency, expert-led education, and media outreach to help REALTORS understand and navigate industry changes.
Bay East launched the Broker Engagement Program to support and empower brokers with legal resources, training, and networking opportunities. The program addressed industry changes and provided tools to help brokers lead with confidence. Events throughout the year connected brokers with expert insights and valuable professional relationships.

Bay East advanced key advocacy efforts by strengthening ties with officials, promoting REALTOR® interests, and defending property rights. These actions impacted local regulations, shaped housing policy, and kept members updated on important legislative developments.
In 2024, we prioritized growing our community and deepening member engagement through new programs, networking, and tailored support—creating a vibrant, connected group that thrives together.
Bay East champions equal access to homeownership through education and advocacy. Highlights include Fair Housing Month campaigns, diversity training for members, and city proclamations recognizing our leadership in fair housing.
The Bay East Foundation supports education, community, and housing causes by providing scholarships, financial aid, and charitable contributions to members and their families.
Bay East committees and groups made a big impact in 2024 by promoting networking, upholding ethical standards, advancing inclusion, and providing global insights— all to strengthen and support the REALTOR® community.
Bay East’s social media efforts in 2024 boosted engagement, expanded reach, and deepened community connections. The results are over 2,000 posts, 2,278 new followers, and 162,000+ impressions.
In 2024, Bay East connected with members through nearly 578,000 emails that delivered timely updates and valuable information, achieving an average open rate of 55 percent across multiple campaigns.
Bay East’s Platinum Affiliates played a key role in supporting events and sharing industry knowledge by sponsoring programs, leading trainings, and providing valuable resources to members.
Bay East hosted engaging events like Jumpstart, Innovation, and Navigation to help members build skills, explore new trends, and navigate the real estate industry with confidence and success.
Bay East offered expert-led classes and hands-on training to help members grow their skills and stay ahead of industry trends, with over 45 sessions and more than 1,000 attendees participating throughout the year.
Bay East Marketing Groups provided a space for real estate professionals to connect and learn while also giving back through charitable donations that supported local organizations and strengthened the community.
Bay East will continue to advocate for policies that promote housing opportunities for everyone, enhance MLS resources, and equip members with education and tools to thrive in an evolving market.
