Camp Wilmont Sweeney is a compulsory minimum-security residential program for adolescent males, ages 15-19, detained in Alameda County’s Juvenile Justice Center.

Organized sports equipment requested By Camp Sweeney will help their teens develop leadership skills, learn teamwork, improve cognitive abilities and social development.
Teaching staff at Camp Sweeney partner with Alameda County Probation and social service agencies to educate and foster the personal and social development of the youth in their care. Sweeney Academic Center provides individualized instruction, instructional aides, and special education services as part of their quality program to:
- Prepare students for responsible citizenship.
- Foster a learning environment to reinforce self-discipline and personal responsibility with minimal application of disciplinary measures.
- Improve student attitudes toward learning experiences and school.
