Managing access to your listings just got easier. Supra is rolling out its Single Access feature, and Bay East members will be able to take advantage of it soon.
What is Single Access?
Supra’s Single Access (part of the Managed Access Service) lets listing agents grant one-time, time-limited lockbox access to contractors, stagers, inspectors, appraisers, and out-of-area agents — all through the Supra eKEY app. No codes. No coordination headaches.
Who can receive Single Access?
Single Access may be granted to:
- Out-of-area licensed real estate professionals who don’t have a Supra subscription
- Non-licensed real estate service providers, including contractors, inspectors, stagers, appraisers, and unlicensed clerical staff
Single Access is not available to general consumers or potential buyers who are unaccompanied by a real estate agent.
How it works:
- You grant access directly through the eKEY app using the person’s cell number
- They receive a non-transferable credential on their smartphone — no code sharing
- You set the access window with a specific start and end time, up to a maximum of 72 hours
- Access can be scheduled up to 30 days in advance
- The system logs who accessed the property, when, and for how long
What’s in it for you:
- More control — you set the time window and can modify or cancel access at any time
- Better security — no sharing codes, no call-before-showing workarounds
- Less coordination — send a stager to one property and a plumber to another, all from the app
- Peace of mind for your sellers — homeowners can receive end-of-showing notifications
Important: Your responsibilities as the issuing agent
Before granting Single Access, keep these MLS rules in mind:
- Single Access may only be granted for an active Bay East MLS listing and for business purposes directly related to the sale or lease of the property
- You must obtain written consent from the seller prior to any entry by authorized service providers
- You are responsible for the conduct of anyone you grant access to, including any misuse or damage to the lockbox or property
- Access logs may be reviewed by Bay East for compliance, and misuse may result in suspension or revocation of Single Access privileges
What your vendors need to do:
Once you send the invite, they’ll get a text from Supra with instructions to download the eKEY app, register, and use it to access the property with a 4-digit PIN.
