Bay East MLS announces an expanded datashare with San Francisco MLS and BAREIS in the first quarter of 2020.
In 2017, Bay East integrated the data from MLSListings in Paragon. We are pleased to announce the expansion into San Francisco MLS and BAREIS, which covers San Francisco, Marin, Solano, Napa, Mendocino, and Sonoma Counties. This datashare will provide a Single Point of Entry/Search experience for our MLS Subscribers and Participants. When you add a listing into Paragon, the data will automatically flow into San Francisco and BAREIS MLS and vice versa.
To facilitate this transition, the following changes will take effect November 21:
1. There will be additional options available for the San Francisco MLS and BAREIS MLS within the “Area” field under Listing Input and Search.
2. The order of the fields within Listing Entry will change slightly. The “County” field will be above “Address” and the “Area” field will be below “City”. Selecting the county first allows the system to filter the data and provide cities and areas that are within the selected county.
3. Additional choices under the “Building Type” field for some property types (mostly commercial) will be added. These building types exist in the San Francisco and BAREIS MLS and will allow us to accurately map their data within our MLS:
