We want to keep our MLS Participants and Subscribers informed of an upcoming change to two of our MLS-related tools.
After careful review, Bay East MLS has made the decision not to renew our contracts with HomeSpotter and DataMaster effective August. We appreciate both vendors for their partnership and the services they have provided to our members.
This decision is part of our ongoing commitment to regularly evaluate our products and services to ensure we are providing the greatest value to our membership. As part of this review, we considered member adoption and usage. Both HomeSpotter and DataMaster have experienced extremely low utilization, approximately 0.01% of our membership, which indicates these tools are providing limited value to the overall membership. Based on this usage, we have decided to focus our resources on products and services that deliver greater benefit to a broader segment of our members.
Please note:
- Members who currently use HomeSpotter Mobile App can continue to access similar functionality through Homes.com, RPR, Realtor.com, and Paragon Connect, all of which offer robust mobile search and collaboration features.
- DataMaster is a tool designed specifically for appraisers.
