Candidates for 2026/2027

Bay East Association of REALTORS® Nominating Committee is proud to present the candidates for the 2026/2027 Board of Directors.

In accordance with the Bylaws, Article X, Section 20, Nominations the Candidate slate is sent to the Board of Directors as an FYI. The slate is considered elected unless a petition is filed. The petition process closed May 16, 2025, with no petitions, and the slate of candidates were affirmed by the Board of Directors on May 27, 2025.

Viviana Cherman

My name is Viviana Cherman. I have been a REALTOR®️ for the last 10 years. I love the Bay East Association of REALTORS®️. I want this industry to be recognized as a professional industry and I love helping my colleagues to be successful. I also want to be involved so that I can make sure all of us are aware of the changes in this industry. I strongly believe that if we want change, we have to serve to be able to ask for and make those changes. I have been a board member for five years now and I am ready to take it to the next level.

Paul Wong

My first day of my real estate journey started by joining BayEast. Since joining, BayEast have provided countless resources and professional connections to help me thrive in my business. My personal values are in full alignment with Bay East’s Culture, it’s Mission, Vision and Values. My mission is to pay it forward to other members. Through my leadership journey, BayEast has help me discover my voice, advocacy for Fairness and Inclusion.

Joe Annunziato III

I have been fortunate to serve in various capacities (director, committee member, committee chair/vice-chair, and task force member) since approximately 2007 or 2008. I see my involvement as a way to give back to our industry and be at the forefront of industry issues and be part of the learning curve to make our association better for our members and the consumers we serve.

Delores Johnson

As a real estate professional, I’ve always found my greatest fulfillment in serving others. My passion for volunteering, coupled with a humble approach to leadership, has driven me to be a valuable resource and mentor in my community. I believe in the power of collaboration and the impact we can make when we work together. Continuing to serve on the board would allow me to channel my enthusiasm for helping others into meaningful action, contributing to the growth and success of our organization and its members. My goal is to bring fresh perspectives, foster an environment of continuous learning, and help shape policies that benefit both our profession and the communities we serve. Who knows, I just may be the President.

Joe LoParo

I am interested in helping shape local policy, becoming a voice for our industry, build stronger connections with associated professionals. I always wish to stay up to date on industry trends, legal changes/challenges and share in the knowledge of best practices. An opportunity to have a role in ethics enforcement and professional conduct. Advocate for community outreach and volunteerism.

Geraldine Ramirez

Being a Director offers a unique opportunity to shape the direction of our association, my vote is counted and may drive a meaningful impact for positive changes. It allows me to communicate our association’s goals and what we are doing to benefit my fellow REALTOR members. It is always with the intent to make it a better association and to look out for our membership. As I network with members, it also allows the membership to communicate their concerns to us, the directors so we can bring this information back to the association. We listen and We act.

Now in my fourth year as a REALTOR® and member of Bay East, I have seen firsthand the tremendous value of diverse perspectives in shaping our industry. I believe that fair representation of all members is essential for a strong, forward-thinking board. Our association serves a wide range of professionals, and it’s critical that the Board of Directors reflects the varied experiences and needs of our membership.

I am committed to being a voice for our members and ensuring that Bay East continues to provide value, innovation, and advocacy. I also believe that board members should not be afraid to speak up for what they believe in, always with the goal of serving the greater good. With my experience in real estate, corporate learning and development, and community leadership—including serving as President of the Tri-Valley Theater Company—I bring a collaborative, strategic, and solutions-focused mindset to leadership.

I would be grateful for the opportunity to serve and contribute to the continued success of our association and its members.

With 20+ continual years as a residential home loan lender, and a deep commitment to the real estate community, I understand the challenges agents face in today’s evolving market. As a current Bay East Board Member, my goal is to ensure our association stays ahead of industry shifts by prioritizing technology, social media innovation, and agent education.
