Bay East Association of REALTORS® Nominating Committee is proud to present the candidates for the 2027/2028 Board of Directors.
In accordance with the Bylaws, Article X, Section 20, Nominations the Candidate slate is sent to the Board of Directors as an FYI. The slate is considered elected unless a petition is filed. The petition process will close May 15, 2026.
President Elect
One Vacancy, 1-year term as President Elect – 2027. 1-year term as President – 2028 (President-Elect automatically assumes President the following year)

Paul Wong
My first day of my real estate journey started by joining Bay East. Since joining, Bay East has provided countless resources and professional connections to help me thrive in my business. My personal values are in full alignment with Bay East’s Culture, it's Mission, Vision, and Values. My mission is to pay it forward to other members. Through my leadership journey, Bay East has helped me discover my voice and strengthen my advocacy for fairness and inclusion.

One Vacancy, 1-year Term – 2027

Louis Heystek
As a 20-year REALTOR® and Bay East's REALTOR® of the Year, I am proud to help lead the Association as its next Treasurer. I am passionate about ensuring Bay East programs, initiatives, benefits and services deliver a "return on investment" that can be experienced by members in a tangible way. I have served on the Board of Directors and bring a solid background in residential brokerage sales, asset management and financial reporting, and experience in local government to my new role.

Eliane Selwan
I am a dedicated real estate professional who is deeply committed to serving both my clients and our industry with integrity, professionalism, honesty and transparency. During my first term on the board, I focused on listening, learning, and gaining a deeper understanding of how we can best support our members.
I am seeking a second term because I feel that I am now better equipped to contribute in a more effective way. I am passionate about elevating our profession and helping guide our organization with a collaborative approach. It would be an honor to continue serving and giving back to a community that has given so much to me.
