Advocacy is an important component to me in my volunteering. Working with our local elected officials on issues that are important to our profession and helping to support changes where needed, is close to my heart.

Prior to real estate, I had a successful 20 year management career in high-tech, working in the heart of Silicon Valley for a major company. Before leaving however, I obtained my license and was buying and flipping property to help many underserved and first time clients purchase homes.
After leaving high-tech, we decided to move from Cupertino, where we lived for 25 years, to be closer to grandchildren, whom I have had the pleasure and honor to watch grow up, the best job ever!

Our profession and association are nearing a crossroads. Things are changing faster than ever, and our members need our best. I’m experienced, passionate, and empathetic, and I need your vote.
A Latino from humble beginnings, I started in 2004 and love our profession. A priority for me is to bring diversity and inclusion to our association’s leadership.
I’m currently serving on the Strategic Planning and Finance committee for the California Association of REALTORS®, a small group of statewide industry leaders tasked with managing the association’s finances and strategic plan. This experience is invaluable and directly relates to the Treasurer position. As one of five members who serve on the investment committee, we guide CAR’s vast investment portfolio. I’ve served in several committee leadership roles during my eight years on the board of directors.
At Bay East, I’ve served on the board of directors, local government relations, MLS, and young professionals network committees. I was also the chair of the Livermore marketing meeting.
I graduated from the National Association of REALTORS® Leadership Academy in 2017, a year-long leadership development program. I served on the executive committee from 2018 – 2019 where we vetted the association’s policies for 1.3 million members. Currently, I serve on the MLS committee and was inducted into the 2021 RPAC Hall of Fame, having invested over $25,000 to support the association’s advocacy efforts.
My leadership training and experience at the local, state, and national levels have prepared me to help lead Bay East into the future.

CENTRAL COUNTY DISTRICT DIRECTOR
San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Castro Valley, Hayward and all cities west of Hayward
One Vacancy, 2-year Term.
Janella Anguiano
I love my career in real estate. Going on nearly two decades as a REALTORS®, I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I quickly learned the agents that were successful were the agents that shared their knowledge and volunteered their time. I have been on the CCMG board for several years, serving as the Social Media Director, then Vice-Chair in 2020/2021, and currently as Chair. This allowed me to get to know numerous agents and affiliates and has allowed me to be a source and reference for their real estate needs. Being a Director is the next step for me and it’s one I’d be proud to take on. I’d like the opportunity to serve as a director aiding with communication and education, helping to gather feedback, and provide information about the programs and tools Bay East provides, and show our real estate community how Bay East negotiates on our behalf. I live in Castro Valley with my husband of 20 years, our two amazing boys, a Mastiff, and an Irish Wolfhound. My family is why I do what I do, they are my biggest supporters. I am a big believer in sharing and lifting each other because there is enough business for everyone. Bay East offers a slew of benefits that so many agents are not aware of. I’d like to shed some light on the many benefits of our association and hear what’s working, what’s not working, and work together to make our association the best it can be.
TRI-CITIES DISTRICT DIRECTOR
Union City, Newark, Fremont and all cities to the South of Fremont
Two Vacancies, 2-Year Term – 2023/2024
Alison Hull
Alison has been in real estate and a member of Bay East since 2012. Before her real estate career, she was self-employed with an accountancy assistance and tax preparation business and worked for a non-profit night shelter for the homeless. She spent four years on the board at Tri-Cities Marketing; three as communications officer and one as President, was the 2017 Vice Chair and 2018 Chair of the Marketing Committee. She is currently serving as the Vice Chair of the Professional Standards Committee, on the IDEA Committee, and as a Board of Director for the Tri-Cities district since 2019.
I believe it is important to volunteer to make a difference to our community which is why I am running for a third term as a Board Of Director. The Covid pandemic brought us some big challenges and changes to our lives, and to our business. I have made it a priority to stay informed, and to pass along what I have learned to our membership. I plan to continue that trend should I be elected for another term. I will also continue to promote professionalism standards for our industry, because I believe our reputation matters. I am available to listen to ideas, suggestions and even complaints so that we can grow and improve together. Please vote for Alison.

This position is one that I take very seriously. I seek to uphold and enrich the already sterling reputation for integrity and fair play that Bay East has achieved. When it comes to challenges, the future of Bay East rests with its members and the trust that develops from fair and prompt services. One of the major reasons that compelled me to run for this position, is the diversity which I would bring to that Board. As populations grow it is important that all factions be represented.

I have been a REALTOR® in good standing for over 17 years and have served in Women’s Council of REALTORS® as a Local Network President, State District Vice President for 2 consecutive terms and chaired and co-chaired committees at the State Level. I currently serve at Bay East as one of your Directors-at-Large, and also serve on the LDC, LGR and Pro-Standards Committees.
I believe strongly in helping others. Not only our clients, but also our colleagues in our Industry. There are many ways to serve in our community, it is my belief that by staying involved in our Local Association, C.A.R., N.A.R. and Women’s Council, I can stay abreast of issues of importance to our industry that affect homeownership. This allows me to be a source of information to my clients and fellow REALTORS® that maybe do not have the opportunity to participate in these conferences.
Our Industry is being challenged with different issues, some of the latest ones the Broker Buyer Agreement, ADU’s, increases in Property Taxes, Rent Control and other issues that affect our clients and REALTORSâ. This information can be brought back to our members and mobilize them to fight for what we stand for: Homeownership. That is why I am running for Tri Valley Director, so that through BayEast we can keep our members informed and involved and at the same time with this knowledge become a better professional to better service my clients. Back to where it all started, Alameda, my hometown. After working for Ron Cowan, a real estate developer, I decided to pursue a career in real estate and got my license in 1987. As a single parent this fit my lifestyle and schedules, became involved with multiple committees which then led me to serve as President of the Alameda Board of REALTORS® in1993 and C.A.R. Regional Chair in 1995. This began my interest in the political side of the industry. It fueled me to want to learn and share that knowledge with our REALTORS® members. I served as Director for the Southern Alameda County Association of REALTORS® (today known as Bay East), California Association of REALTORS® (1991 – 1999) and Women’s Council of REALTORS®. I relocated to Pasadena in 2001 and immediately became involved with the local association. I served as 2014 President of the Pasadena-Foothills Association of REALTORS® and was installed by C.A.R. 2013 President, Don Faught. I served as C.A.R. Director (2010 – 2017) and NAR committees 2010 – 2020.
I proudly hold the following designations: CRS, CIPS, SRES, and PMN. My goal is to reach out to our members and share all that our organization has to offer. We are as strong as our members.
My husband and I moved back to Alameda recently to care for my 92-year-old mother, meet my new granddaughter and spend quality time with family. I am once again jumping in and looking forward to serving our real estate community.

I was born and raised in Fremont, bought my first house in Pleasanton, and eventually settled in Livermore in 1997. I raised my boys in Livermore and am currently living here in Livermore with my hubby, dog, and cat. I enjoy working in the Bay Area and helping others succeed in real estate, with other REALTORS®, investing, buyers and sellers. My focus on real estate is integrity, energy, hard work and creative service in every detail of real estate transactions. Since I started in 2001, I have been committed to the real estate industry. I work full-time in every aspect of the industry and represent sellers, buyers, and investors in the residential market. REALTORS® are an underappreciated resource in our community because of the information presented to the public. Consumers often don’t understand what we do or what value we add. I would like to serve as a director, communicate and educate, help provide information and collect feedback on the programs and tools Bay East offers, and how they negotiate on our behalf. We as a community can better benefit by boosting both our professionalism and productivity. My goal is to reach out to members to see how we can ensure that they benefit from all the services Bay East has to offer and are available for transparent communication between membership and Bay East.

I am Frank Quismorio and I am running for Bay East Association of REALTORS® Director-At-Large.
I am currently on the Bay East Board of Directors, Chair of the Tri-Cities Marketing Council, Vice-Chair of the I.D.E.A. Committee, and member of the Pro-Standards Committee. I was also a recipient of the Bay East Rookie-of-the-Year Award for 2019.
I have been involved with Bay East in various capacities over the last five years. I have truly benefitted both personally and professionally from my Bay East experiences and I see it as my job to ensure those opportunities are communicated to other members, especially our newer members. As a new REALTORS® I was not aware of the resources available to me. Once I attended my first Bay East Marketing Meeting, I made connections with other REALTORS® and Affiliates and developed partnerships that continue today. I want to empower others with the same opportunities.
Vote for Frank Quismorio for Bay East Director-At-Large 2023!

Garrick Yan
Hi Bay East
I’m Garrick Yan with exp Realty
My homeownership journey began when I bought my first home in Fremont in 1999. I was able to scrape up the 10% down payment and get a 80-10-10 loan to close. I literally had 3 digits left in my account after closing. That includes the spare change. It was a great buying experience, but felt it could be improved. Today I lead a group of over 30 agents serving from Sacramento to San Diego and oversee over 200 transactions in the past 10 years. I believe home ownership should be accessible for everyone. Equal access to all races, color, religion, sex, handicap, family status, sexual orientation, gender identity, and national origin. I have served as Asian Real Estate Association of America Greater East Bay President 2019 to promote AAPI home ownership. I have gone to City council meetings, Sacramento and Washington DC for advocacy. Today I lead the Bay East global workgroup. Area national chapter development committee San Francisco Bay Area Agent forum and Asian Network at my brokerage. I am asking for your vote for Bay East Director at Large to further homeownership for all and elevate our profession as REALTORS®.
